Dr. Thomas Akwasi Baafi - Director
Dr. Thomas Akwasi Baafi is the co-founder of TM Medicals Ltd. and he has had a very
successful career in IT industry with Bsystems Limited as the Group CEO for over
twenty-three (23) years. He had facilitated huge investment in software solutions in
Ghana’s leading Systems Consulting and Software Development with about 45
companies including 25 banks, Bank of Ghana and other financial institutions based
on his extensive experience in U.S.A. After successfully implementing the bank
solutions, he further implemented insurance solutions to insurance companies and
lead Bsystems to partner with industry leaders to provide service solutions
unmatched within the sub-Saharan marketplace and had won so many awards.
Dr. Baafi wields varied and extensive experience in consultancy as he worked with
Oracle Corporation, Electronic Data Systems, Anderson Consulting and Savannah
River Company. He collaborated with World Bank-IFC and Datacore of India to
implement The Collateral Registry Systems for Bank of Ghana, Central Bank of
Nigeria, Central Bank of Liberia, the Reserve Bank of Malawi (Register General), and
an Identity Verification Systems (GVIVE). GVIVE is used by all the financial institutions
in Ghana and consists of Voters Register and Drivers’ License and Passport
databases.
Dr. Baafi also has over seven (7) years of experience being the technical adviser to a
major medical supplying company like Namarka Modern Medicals Limited. He had
served on many boards with key industry players in the medical industry and he is
very passionate about the medical industry and the quality of service delivered to
patients.
